Artists wanted!

You are passionate about art and would like to present your works at the arts festival ART | an der Grenze | na granicy (“ART at the border”) in the European twin cities of Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice? You have a relation to the Polish-German border region or you deal with the subject of borders through your art?

Whether it is painting, sculpture, performance, street art, installation or photography: We are looking for contributions from all kinds of artistic fields and styles – there are no restrictions for your application! Regardless of whether you are new to the field or already a well-established artist – we invite creative artists with fresh ideas and passion for their work.

You are motivated to work collaborative with other artists?

This time we venture forward with a new experiment: In addition to the solo exhibitions we bring two artists together and give them spaces to be creative together - before or during the art festival. We are looking forward to your ideas!

We’re looking forward to receiving your application until 15 December 2019 including:

• photographs/screenshots/texts of up to 5 examples of your works (including detailed information about size and format)
• a letter containing a short description of your person, your works, your motivation for participating in our festival and your relation to the festival and/or to the border region or borders in general (up to 1 page)
• your contact details (incl. e-mail and telephone number)
