ARTISTS’Submissions for Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe 2022 are now open and close on Thursday 15 July!

ARTIST SUPPORT, AWARDS AND SUBSIDIES

Each year the Sculpture by the Sea team work hard to generate artist awards and subsidies for the exhibiting artists.

Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe 2022 artist support will include:

  • The $10,000 Bendat Family Foundation Invited WA Artist Program, each for three WA artists invited by the Sculpture by the Sea National Artistic Advisory Committee
  •  The Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe Artists Award of $30,000 with thanks to Minderoo Foundation
  • Western Australian Sculptor Scholarship of $10,000 with thanks to Gavin Bunning AM & Julienne Penny
  • Alcoa Aluminium Award of $10,000 for a new significant work in Aluminium open to all exhibiting artists
  • The Barton Family Foundation artist support of $10,000 for an artist to make a major new artwork inspired by the exhibition site
  • The Mostyn Family Foundation Artist Subsidy of $5,000 for an International Artist
  • Assistance for all artists for reasonable use of install and de-install Site Crew and heavy equipment

 

All types, forms and sizes of sculpture, in all materials, are eligible for entry, and submissions are open to senior through to emerging artists alike.

When making your submission, please include all the requested information including documents such as your CV and images of other work you have produced to support your application. It can be difficult for the Curatorial Panel to assess your submission if your ideas are not clearly and succinctly expressed.
