"Potentiale 2018" - Exhibition for Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Installation and Video Art

The art and culture association "art dòsera" invites you to participate in a juried exhibition in a 400m2 hall in Diepoldsau (CH). 
The aim of the competition is to discover hidden artistic potentials and to offer them a cross-border exhibition opportunity and to support the artists with prize money. 
As a platform for regional artists, it is important to us to know and promote artists in the Lake Constance region.
The "Potentials 2018" represents a first attempt to raise and make visible the artistic potential in the Lake Constance region.
The tender should be repeated at regular intervals.


Conditions for participation 
Artists from the Lake Constance region and the Rhine Valley are eligible to participate. (D, A, FL, CH)
Artists who have already exhibited at the "art dòsera" gallery cannot participate.

Work to be submitted:
All works (paintings, drawings, photos, etc.), as well as sculptures, installations and video works can be submitted.
The portfolio of the artistic work should cover at least a period of the last 5 years in order to provide a comprehensive impression of the artistic work.
The works should be for sale.
All works must be submitted as a printed portfolio (DIN A4, coloured):

If the documents are to be returned, please enclose 20 CHF. All other documents will not be returned!

Jury
The judging is carried out anonymously by an independent jury of three members, consisting of art historian, artist and art journalist.
The jury selects the works to be exhibited; there is no entitlement to a presentation of all submitted works by a participant.

Exhibition
Approx. 15-20 artists will be selected from the submitted works and presented in the exhibition "Potentiale 2018".

Prizes
During the exhibition, the jury will select 3 prize winners.
1st prize: 2,000 CHF
2nd prize: 1,000 CHF
3rd prize: 500 CHF
Visitors also have the opportunity to choose their favourite.
Audience Award: 500 CHF
The prizes will be announced at the finissage.
