IN/OUT Jordan Public Art

IN/OUT is an open call that takes place in public places in Jordan. The works will be designed to be placed in specific outdoor or indoor public locations and will be available for public interaction day and night during the exhibition period. The artworks will be conceived under the binomial concept of IN/OUT.

Participation is divided as following:

• Permanent Public Art (Model 1) : which includes Sculpture, installation, localized works, art intervention or any type of artworks that can be implemented outdoors. Selected projects of Model 1 (Permanent Public Art), will be awarded of the required fees for material costs and work installation.
• Temporary Public Art (Model 2): which does not have permanent personality due to its ephemeral nature and it includes art intervention, performance art, community arts, installation, photography, sound art or any other art disciplines. Each selected project from model 2 (Temporary Public Art) will receive the sum of up to 700$ USD for its development, production and implementation.

Each selected artist and group representative will receive a pocket money of 300$ USD. The National Gallery will cover the travel and accommodation fees for artists and groups’ representatives coming from abroad.
