Glasgow Sculpture Studios - Asterides Artist Exchange

Glasgow Sculpture Studios would like to invite applications for participation in Triangle France – Asterides Artist Exchange. The exchange is designed for artists at a pivotal point in their career and who have not had major institutional support or the opportunity to develop work abroad. Artists must be living and working in Glasgow.

The residency will last from September 16th – December 20th, 2019.

The awardees will have access to a free studio (60m²) and shared accommodation in Marseille with 2 others artists; return travel costs covered; and 1000 euros production grant (on presentation of receipts). They will also be provided with logistical support including production assistance; assistance in researches : materials, partnerships and professional studio visits with guests; and links with the wider visual arts networks in the host city.

• Artist Statement (500 words maximum)
• Why would participation in the exchange be beneficial to the development of your practice? (350 words maximum)
• 8-10 images of recent work. Include up to 3 youtube or vimeo links for video work.
• Full artist CV (2 A4 pages maximum)
