ANIMA MUNDI 2022 - VISIONS

ITSLIQUID Group, in collaboration with Venice Events, EGO’ Boutique Hotel and ACIT Venice – Italian-German Cultural Association, is pleased to announce the open call for ANIMA MUNDI 2022, international exhibition of photography, painting, video art, installation/sculpture, and performance art, that will be held in Venice at THE ROOM Contemporary Art Space (click here to learn more about our location), at ITSLIQUID ART SPACE – Venice Grand Canal (click here to learn more on this venue), at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello (click here to learn more on this venue) and in other prestigious venues between April and July 2022, during the 59th Venice Biennale Arte.

The festival focuses on the concept of ANIMA MUNDI, that according to several historical cultures, religions and philosophical systems, is an intrinsic connection between all living entities on the planet, which relates to the world in a similar way as the human soul is connected to the human body.

Plato expressed his thought about the ANIMA MUNDI in the Timaeus, “this world is indeed a living being endowed with a soul and intelligence… a single visible living entity containing all other living entities, which by their nature are all related”.
