Linda Bareham-Stanley
Linda uses a variety of stone to create her carvings. She uses the human form as reference concentrating on the strength as well as the vulnerability of the human body, seeing how the body expresses itself and the way each curve and fold relates to each other, her work is in private collections in the UK, America and across Europe. Linda has also been an art tutor for over 20 years working for various Adult Learning Centres and Oxford College of Further Education. She now runs weekly stone carving and mosaic classes in her studio, as well as 4 day stone carving workshops overlooking Wimbleball lake in Exmoor National Park.
