Art in Wertingen Castle

 „gegenwART“ - 07.10. to 04.11.2018

For more than 30 years, the city of Wertingen has offered a forum for contemporary positions in art every two years with the exhibition series "Art in the Castle". Initially a residence in Bavaria was a prerequisite for participation, artists from Baden-WĂĽrttemberg are now also invited to present works from 2016 to 2018. The exhibition will show works by about 30 artists, and the following exhibition venues are planned, which are located in the immediate vicinity:

  • Wertingen Castle, SchulstraĂźe 12, 86637 Wertingen (Festsaal und Foyer)
  • Municipal Gallery in the former district court Wertingen next to the Castle, SchulstraĂźe 10, 86637 Wertingen (Ground Area, 1. Floor, 2. Floor)
