INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE MEETING
The sculpture meeting is organized by the Sts. Constantine and Helena Foundation and is intended to be an event to be held once a year.
Participants in the meeting shall be determined after a competition.
The created sculptural artworks remain the property of the resort complex.

GOALS AND TASKS
Creation of outdoor sculpture gallery on the territory of Sts. Constantine and Helena Resort, in order to enrich the aesthetic environment of the resort and to be popularized not only as a tourist and recreation area but also as a favorable place for creating art.
The meeting has a certain thematic focus, which aims to show through the art and through different creative interpretations of the authors the relationship between sea, earth, nature and people.

TIME AND PLACE OF CONDUCT
V Meeting-competition for sculpture "Touch the Nature - Seabed" shall be held from 7th to 22nd May 2019 on a specially designated site on the territory of the Sts. Constantine and Helena Resort.
ORGANIZATION
The overall activity for the preparation and implementation of the meeting shall be financed by an approved budget and additional funds from funding programs, sponsors and advertisers. - The expert jury, which allows the authors to participate, consists of representatives of the organizers, Municipality of Varna, as well as artists and art-scientists appointed by the Sts. Constantine and Helena Foundation.
The material with which the authors will work is Russe limestone. Dimensions of the stone: 80x80x140 cm.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE ORGANIZERS
- The organizers shall provide accommodation and food for the participants for the period 07 to 22.05.2019 in the Sts. Constantine and Helena Resort.
- Specially designed working area for the artists with access to electricity, pallets, stairs.
- Material for the sculptures - Russe limestone - blocks.
- Installation of the finished artworks at the resort.
- Promoting the objectives and results of the meeting in the public space, social networks, the organizers' own channels and in the media – both regional and national.
- Organizing an exhibition of the finished artworks.
- Providing a fee for each author-participant in the Plein Air: BGN 1000, after successful implementation of the project which the author was approved for participation in the symposium, 15 days after the completion of the plein air and upon signing of a contract applying the regulation of Art. 42 of the Bulgarian Law on copyright and related rights.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTICIPANTS
- To perform the sculptural artwork within the specified deadline according to the approved project.
- To be supplied by the necessary equipment and tools for work.
- To sign a declaration of compliance with the requirements for technical safety at work.
- Travel costs shall be for participants account.
- In the cases when it’s necessary visa issuing or other custom’s documents for the participants abroad the costs are for the account of the participants.
- The authors shall not require additional fees for their participation in activities, related to promoting the meeting in the media through web publications, media reports, catalog creation, pictures, recordings, or video materials for the event.
- To sign a declaration that they agree after the end of the meeting their works to remain the property of the organizers in order to enrich the park area in the Sts. Constantine and Helena

Each participant in the symposium must have its own health insurance and insurance.

COPYRIGHT
Each participant is responsible for the content of their produce. By filling in the application form, he / she ensures that he / she has full copyright on the submitted work for participation in the meeting and allows his / her public presentation and reproduction for the advertising needs of the event. The organizers of the present meeting shall not be responsible under the copyright law and cannot be party to disputes of a similar nature.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
The requested information, including photos, can be used in the advertising material of the event - electronic and printed, on the official website and on the social networking page.
APPLICATION
The right to participate in the meeting shall have sculptors who accept the terms of the present Rules.
Candidates are required to submit:
- Application as per the application form;
- Artist’s Curriculum Vitae;
- Project for sculpture as per the announced subject of the meeting "Touch the Nature - Seabed". The project should contain a brief explanatory note of the idea, accompanied by a visualization of the project, in the form of a sketch, a drawing or a picture of a model.

Together with the project, the authors should present all the technical parameters for the implementation of their idea and describe in detail the additional materials they need for finishing, positioning in the park, reinforcing and conservation of the works - precise dimensions of the pedestals and from what material they are made; incorporating iron fittings, logs or other elements to strengthen statues; necessary materials for preserving and storing sculptures in an open space. The jury, which allows the authors to participate, consists of representatives of the organizers, the municipality of Varna, the Union of Bulgarian Artists, as well as artists and art critics nominated by Sts. Constantine and Helena Foundation. After reviewing the projects, the jury shall determine the participants in the fifth edition of the meeting. A final exhibition of the finished works is planned.

After examining the applications and projects, the jury shall nominate the participants in the V meeting in the Sts. Constantine and Helena Resort - until 25.04.2019.
The authors of the approved projects shall be informed about it by 26.04.2019 at the latest.
Due to visa delays or other problems, the approved candidates have no possibility to arrive in time to realize their projects, they drop out of participation and they’re replaced by other project of the competition by the Commission.
