HIDDEN Rookwood Sculptures 2021

Applications are now open to submit proposals for Rookwood General Cemetery's HIDDEN Rookwood Sculptures 2021.
Join Australian and international artists for the opportunity to showcase your work in the largest and oldest active cemetery in the southern hemisphere.

All works selected for exhibition receive honorariums and are eligible for awards with a prize pool value of over $30,000. Additional support is available for works travelling over 200km to the exhibition.

We Are Looking For
Works that respond to the cemetery and engage with HIDDEN's themes of history, culture, remembrance, diversity, love, mourning, spirituality, cycles of life and the passage of time. We invite all works ranging from celebratory, big, bright and colourful through to contemplative, personal, intimate and thought-provoking. Artists may propose new or existing works that relate to the exhibition themes.
