Raus aufs Land! Künstlerische Projekte für den Außenraum gesucht

Zur zweiten Ausgabe des Supergau Festivals für zeitgenössische Künste im Salzburger Land wird der Lungau zum Supergau. Auf über 1.200 Quadratkilometer stehen 200.000 Euro für raumgreifende Künste zur Verfügung.

„Wir laden Künstler und Künstlerinnen aus aller Welt ein, sich für das Festival Zeit zu nehmen und ermöglichen daher Aufenthalte, um vor Ort zu arbeiten, zu forschen und in den Austausch zu kommen. Der gesamte Entstehungsprozess, die Entwicklung einer Dramaturgie und die gemeinsame inhaltliche Erarbeitung mit den Beteiligten ist Bestandteil des Festivals“, so Supergau-Intendantin Tina Heine. Einsendeschluss für alle Bewerbungen ist der 10.04., die Jurysitzung zur Auswahl der Projekte findet im Mai statt. Schon im Juni treffen sich die ausgewählten KünstlerInnen zur ersten Residenz. Out into the countryside! Artistic projects for the outdoor space wanted

For the second edition of the Supergau Festival for contemporary arts in the province of Salzburg, the Lungau becomes the Supergau. On more than 1,200 square kilometers, 200,000 euros are available for space-consuming arts.

"We invite artists and artists from all over the world to take time for the festival and therefore allow residencies to work, research and exchange on site. The entire process of creation, the development of a dramaturgy and the joint development of content with the participants is part of the festival," says Supergau artistic director Tina Heine. The deadline for all applications is April 10, and the jury meeting to select the projects will take place in May. Already in June, the selected artists will meet for the first residency.
